Crime and punishment are very, very old issues and I do not believe that we will ever see a reasonable answer.

I honestly believe that in some cases the minds of those committing crimes are so broken that they are unredeemable.

Is it kinder to jail them, or execute them?

If they cannot be cured and will go on to commit more crimes, why should society support them?

As you know, I am a fervent animal advocate, and I feel that people who repeatedly hurt animals should be punished and jailed for life. Better yet, use the old “an eye for an eye” rule.
