Ah, yes. What could be nicer than patting the warm fur of your kitty?

Sometimes they wil allow it for ages, or they might, as you said, get done with it and move on.

Our former kitty, Gandalf was a Russian Blue and had a double coat. His main occupation in life (besides snoozing) was grooming. For him, true joy was getting brushed. He NEVER got fed up with that.

Our remaining kitty, Taffy, really needs to get brushed often, but is not crazy about it. Since Gandalf passed, she has become much more amenable to getting brushed.
