An amusing tale, Mireille.
I sympathise with your problems. It would be very disturbing if we had cats stalking our ssorted birds, so I am very grateful that we do not seem to get any.
We get plenty of wildlife travelling through. Possums, Coyotes, Foxes, Skunks and Racoons, and the occasional Groundhog. These all obey the rules and disturb nothing. They come and drink from the two birdbaths and leave. The squirells on the other hand, are not wecome since hey are forever interfering with the flower beds and are discouraged from hanging out at our place.
The red ones are especially not welcome since they are not actually native to this area and tend to be over aggressive to the black and grey ones, which ARE native.
