AS a rule, I like fences. They serve as boundaries and can be made part of the landscaping design. In this case, I thought the fence was too tall and pretty instrusive. It was not as if Blanch was a noisy person or had hoardes of noisy brats cming to visit. I could never figure out why that fence went in. She and that neighbour were close friends and had been for years. Go figure.
