I have asked people to use their own photos for their articles in my publications, and underlined the need for proper acreditation for other folks' photos, but your artilce makes it even more clear. I think we might just write a new disclaimer regarding so-called free photo sources.

It is really unfortunate for the folks that do not have any photos of their pet, and want to use one that looks like their pet. Maybe we need to have some sortof special Medium Writers special photo sharing spot.
