Both love and life are funny old games.

I had two previous husbands, and a ton of boyfriends which I went through like dirty shirts on a muddy day.

Hubby no1 was a total mistake. I only married him after pressure from family because I was pregnant. That union lasted 3 years. I divorced him after we came to Canada, He got custody of the kid (with my blessing) and married a rich Jewish heiress.

Hubby no 2, also a total mistake. That relationship lasted a year and ended after I chased him around the kitchen with a carving knife and told the sanctimonious religious (Mormon) leader types to get him the Hell out of the house.

After that it was one night stands for ages, with me being the ditcher. (Fave line: “Don’t call me, I’ll call YOU”) a lot of jocks were left sadder but wiser.

I finally met my present partner — we did not wed, we are common law and have been together since 1985. A quiet, gentle soul, completely different from me and 13 years younger. Amazingly, we have survived. How I don’t know. I am a Manic Depressive and NOT a team player. I am, however, a brilliant cook …..hmmmm.
