Boy, can I relate to you on this one.
I’m a huge tree advocate and have long tried to have the city be more proactive about caring for street trees.
Every time we lose a tree we lose gallons and gallons of fresh air (I should have that number at the tip of my fingers, but no.)
It’s terrible how street trees and neglected we’ve had quite a few trees go down in our hood and that is as a result of two things one because of underground wires and digging for Hydro and digging for water where no care has been taken to avoid the tree roots, and also there have a couple of lightning strikes which have done a couple of old trees and the improper planting of trees. They pick really bad types of trees which are not going to survive .
You made some really good points. Excellent, thank you”
