Can I ever relate to that business of you are totally not you when performing. All my life I have been extremely introverted and very shy. However - Give me a microphone, some music and an audience, I am another person. Same with speeches - give me a microphone and podium and a big audience, I am totally at home. And cos play? Can't stop me there!!! However, just me? a big dud. Sad really. I think that very few performers really appreciate how much they are loved. I think that the creative soul suffers all the time, and cannot really accept how special they are.

So Martie, know that you have made people laugh and cry and feel emotions they would otherwise never have felt, so you have helped them. You are a very special soul. Burn bright.
