My own feelings on Medium is that it is currently the ONLY place one can publish ones work in a half decent manner. It has warts, but no nearly as bad as other so-called writers sites.

On Medium I have been amazed by some of the calibre of writers. I have made friends here.

I write to please myself. If something I write reaches or pleases just one other person, my day is made. Ev probably hates me because I am not joining his monetizing schemes. but Ev should understand that providing a vehicle for people to express themselves is of huge value. Dollars and cents are not everything.
