Dan, these photos are awesome.

That shot of the Cedar Waxwing is so cool. I love those little guys. We used to get them when we had a huge Spruce in our previous garden, but this garden does not attract them at all, sadly.

I have never seen an Eastern Bluebird around here. What a cute bird.

I am wildly jealous that you got such a great shot of an American Goldfinch! We have piles of them here, but I can never get a shot - they take off as soon as I show up, with or without a camera.

We have also never spotted a Rosebreastd Grosbeak here, but one of my garden clients who lives near a stream, has them dropping by all the time.

As you probably know the West Nile Flue did a job on many of the songbirds, and it is only now several years later that we are seeing a return of the BlueJays. What a nice shot that is of it on the tree stump. In our garden they come for the heated birdbaths.

The Downy Woodpecker is one of the most frequent visitors in our area. Lots of sad and sickened trees around here. Tree husbandry is not a biggie with the people who live nor with the City.

Thanks for partcipating in our little challenge for Dennett.
