We got ours done a number of years ago, then much to our irritation, our then lawyer, retired and didn't let anyone know. So, when it came time to update our information (executors, beneficiaries) we couldn't. Eventually, we found a decent lawyer (one of my clients) and got a new one drawn up with all the updated info. We even made provision for our pets in the will so that they would be properly card for. We also made our bank our executor to avoid possible family conflicts. Every once in a while, the bank lady involved calls us to make sure we are still around. Funny if one day she calls and just gets crickets. giggle.
