Fascinating topic, Deborah.

I do not accept "evil" in the religous context.

Clearly, people born into violence, substance abuse, and bad lifestyles can be influenced into that same behaviour, but what of those who simply display nasty traits with apparently no external influences?

Were they jusr born that way?

I heard that scientists have looked into a genetic predisposition for certain traits, and that perhaps, one day in the future gene therapy might be a way to treat this problem.

When Bruce worked for a genetic research company, (20 years ago)they were developing gene therapy to treat a condition called Retinal Blastoma.

But that opens up a can of worms, doesn't it?
