First of all, thank you for both reading and responding to my stories, Terry. It is very much appreciated.

My life has been, let’s say, somewhat different from many other people.

In a way, I am grateful for the lack of normal schooling, and being allowed to develop a love of animals and the land. I do find, however, that this lack of a so-called “normal” upbringing has made me more of a loner, less of a “teamplayer”, so that working in a normal environment is difficult for me.

This is why I chose to pursue my studies in horticulture and holistic healing. I am able to make sufficient pocket money out of my few chosen garden projects to buy presents and good work gear (and makeup). The holistic healing allows me to help animals, and sometimes, people.

Thankfully, my partner made many good investment choices before retiring, making my financial contribution less critical than in those early days, when every penny counted..
