Great article, Justin John. Even if you are just one person, a lot of “just one persons” can add up. If we all make a point to try to avoid plastics and artificial fabrics, it WILL make a difference.

As a photographer, you are in an excellent position to make your voice heard, and to bring these issues out in the open. Public annoyance with polluters and big business perps, will eventually have a trickle down effect.

A wise business friend of mine recently pointed out that the ONLY way big polluters will stop is if one can find a way to show them that they can make money by not polluting.

So bottom line, if there is no profit in ceasing to be a polluter, they will continue unchecked. Our mission then, as responsible inhabitants of this earth, is to find a way to show them how they can profitably stop polluting.
