Ha ha ha - well, as fgar as I know there are no venemous snakes in that part of Portugal. Maybe north but not right there.

The biggest physical danger I faced at that time was from my mad goat, who happened to be a hemephrodite (sp?) and would happily come up behind one and butt - REALLY hard .
