I do not think that three Ho Mi iggers is a bit excessive. LOL

At the rate I manage to misplace/lose tools, it’s a necessity for me. I am forever getting ‘phone calls and emails from clients telling me they found one of my tools and when can I come and pick it up!

I love the short handled one, but because of bad knees kneeling is really not on for me. I have to sit on the ground, in a rude posture, and dig away in the space in front of me. I use both the hand ho mi digger, and my weed spike (another tool I lose constantly, and of which I have at least 4 backups.)

A collection of my fave handtools on the left, and on the right my top fave weeding tool, the weedspike..
Here I am on the boulevard, in anti bug gear, ready to yank out crab grass. The weeder is almost hidden in the grass in front of me.

The hand ho mi digger is my favorite planting tool. It produces a perfect furrow for me to place small transplants in.

Yes, the winter is here to spoil our gardening fun. This year it came so early I barely had time to pull out and dry the summer bulbs.

I wish for and fervently hope for a weedfree spring, but doubt that will happen.
