I really love this shot of the Borage. The shade of blue is so magical. Since the flowers face downwards, it can be challenging to get a good shot, which is why I asked Bruce to get the shot, since getting under things right now is not possible for me.

I got turned on to Borage by our friend Erika Burkhalter, who pointed out how bees love this plant, and took a stunning photo of one of the plants.

The blue perennial geranium, “Pratense” appears to be a bit of a woodland flower. It is lovely in the early summer but only flowers that one time, unlike many other perennial geraniums.

The yellow lillium is a surprise plant that showed up one year in the front garden and has flowered every year since its unheralded arrival. I knew that Dennett would love the raindrops on its petals.
