In some cases a robot might be very helpful. The dog minding one may have some potential.

Years ago someone came up with program called Eliza. You could have conversation with it as if it was a shrink. Pretty amusing.

I guess things have evolved a lot since then.

My partner is all about using technology. We are now the proud parents of three (one for each floor) rumba vacuums. He loves to program them. I must admit it is great to have the house cleaned from top to bottom every day.

The cats just sit and watch them. Taffy likes to block them.

As for robots for companions …not so keen on that idea.😎
