interesting article, Penny.

In landscaping, we were always cautioned against planting willow trees close to houses. This was because of the water seeking roots which would attack weeping tile and any water pipes. I never knew about the huge water consumption you mentioned.

I wonder if anyone considers planting willow tRees in flood plains as a defence against flooding?

I guess the Caped Crusader will enjoy her visit while her home is being worked on.
