Looking back on it, I was lucky that I figured out to take Belladona (Atropine), and drank about a litre of apple cider vinegar (yuch) to counteract the poison.

I was at my weekly music lesson when I noticed my arm had begun to lose feeling, then my shoulder and was able to put two and two together while trying to figure out the cause of the numbness.

As a gardener, you will probably relate to how it happened.

I was out planting some new stuff, but was running late so was having my sandwich at the same time. When I got to the pot of Aconite, it was extremely root bound, so I had to loosen it up - but failed to put the gloves on to do so. So, after rattling the roots around and planting it, I returned to the sandwich ...thus ingesting some Aconite poison right off the roots.

When I did a quick look up I verified that the numbness was just the start...

So Belladona and Apple Cider Vinegar ( I have not liked Apple Cider Vinegar since). LOL
