Medium Limits Access to Draft Sharing!
Well, here I go again, another rant.
Looks like Medium has decided that the idea of sharing draft links is a bad one, and it is now impossible to share a draft link with anyone unless they are a Medium member.
This is a really annoying development for me, because as a responsible journalist, when I write an article about someone, I like to run a pre-published draft past them.
This gives them a chance to point out any factual errors I might have made, to suggest additional information that I could use, etc.
Most of my article subjects are NOT Medium members, nor are they ever likely to be Medium members. Sharing a draft link with them does not really hurt Medium.
But NOT being able to freely share a draft link causes me additional annoyance and inconvenience.
WTF Medium?
