We had the joy of seeing Peacocks wandering around some of the parks in Portugal, and once, one ended up visiting our garden (most likely lost).

During my recent stay in hospital here in Canada, my name was the source of much pleasure to some of the sweet Indian nurses. They would bring their friends by at the end of their shifts, and proudly say "Look, see we have the National bird in our ward".
