It amazes me how very resilient our birds really seem to be.

It's good that once the house was fixed the parents returned. Naughty Blue Jay!

We had a Grackle pair try to attack a Robins' nest. As far as I can tell the male robin and the male Grackle died in the altercation. The mother robin came and sat on the eggs and hatched the babies. Cannot figure out how she managed to survive by herself.. A healthy batch of nestlings made it.
