No — a bra does NOT count, LOL

It’s a bit late for this — BUT — icing generally helps in this situation. Hold your hand over the painful area and see if there is more heat there than on the other side. If heat — inflammation = icing.

If they are cracked — the taping will definitely help. Not too tight. Not sticky tape. I usually use a tensor bandage. (Have cracked multiple times ;-)) Get one of the kids to help. Taping is all they do for ribs — cracked or broken. I hope just cracked — unless you have splinters coming through …probably cracked.

If you can get it, try Arnica gel or cream externally over the painful area. I have always found that to be really great for breaks, contusions, bruises (this happens a lot to me). If you are open to holistic — try taking Arnica in pill form — Arnica 200 — once an hour for the first day — then go to Arnica 30 three times daily. Homeopathic remedies are in such dilute form it is unlikely that you would get a reaction to them. Homeopathy is of course considered to be BS by mainstream medicine. (My argument for using it is that it has worked both for me and my pets in the past. My dog had Cushings ( no cure) and I kept him comfortable for two years beyond predictions with homeopathic remedies. My one cat has Pancreatitis (no cure)and I have kept it under control with homeopathic remedies for the past 3 years. I am currently keeping my cataracts at bay with a homeopathic remedy).
