Oh man that made me laugh, but because, I have BEEN THERE DONE THAT. Definitely "Assholes with wings"
Bees do not bother me, but yellowjackets and actual hornets I dislike intensely.
I have had so many wasp encounters with stings that I have lost count. Damned lucky that I am not allergic.
Since I am a professional gardener, it is inevitable that wasps will cross my path. I dislike the ones that make nests in the ground the very most. You're in there pulling weeds, and the little shits come after you.
I have learned to always have a nice big tube of toothpaste handy. I can smear that on stings and get immediate relief. I also always have a spray can of WD40 with me. I find that spraying the bastards with WD40 is very effective in slowing them down.
I think my best wasp encounter was the time I disturbed a nest of them near the compost heap. I made it into the house with 20 stings. The swearing was unbelievable. My neighbours learned a whole bunch of bodily functions that they had never imagined possible.
