One really does have to wonder what he sensed. None of our cats have done that to date.

The only truly freaky animal we had was a poor broken Border Collie cross. He had something they call "the Night Terrors" so as soon as the light went, he turned into a freaked out ball or fear. No one was able to help him and eventually we had to put him to sleep. He would bite anything and anyone for no reason that anyone could tell. We are still recovering from that disaster.
