Really lovely captures, Anne.

Tulips are a very interesting flower because they come in many different varieties and those have different bloom times.

So we can have the tiny, really early tulips as soon as the snow melts, then the next round of early to mid spring, then as the season progreses, the more exotic types - the doubles, the Parrots, etc. These are usually the late flowering ones.

Careful planning when you plant your spring bulbs can give you an extended season of flowering.
