Snorfel!##$$@@**

I hear you.

I was invited to be a writer for a publication back in 2016 when I first joined. They were enthusiastic about my writing and accepted a few pieces. then, suddenly, they were "sitting" on stuff and thanks to Medium not alerting me, I never found out about these "sat on" pieces until the present date!

I can understandf editors being overwhelmed. But they really need to have a mechanism for telling writers that there is a delay. If they don't have time to review submissions, they should send out notifications to their writers to let them know about this. Then wriers would have the option of withdawing the piece.

I only experienced one editor messing with my stuff, and this was outrageous. The jackass substituted a Pixabay photo for one of mine, and the one he used was not relevant to the piece. I told him this would not fly and removed myself as a writer.

the job of being an editor is not easy, if you actually take it seriouysly. I think a lot of folk around here are on a bit of a power trip.

Screw them ;-)
