Such a hard lesson to learn, Claire. So sorry your little guy caved to the illness. I have lost four to that same illness. It is a hard thing to accept, and it is tough when the are in the last stages. I am so glad your vet made you take him home.

All of ours went at the vet, but in our arms, and enjoying their fave treats and lots of cuddles. In all cases we knew it would be best to put them to,sleep, because of their discomfort. It is never an easy decision, but being aware of what is happening really helps. We have one now in the final stages and every day she remains okay is a bonus, but we know those days are limited.
