I use photoshop Elements with a mouse. I have very little luck using the pen attachment. Sometimes I do a pre-sketch in pen and ink, and photograph it and put into Elements. then try to fix it. Sometimes that works, and sometimes not. The mouse is really hard to work with on smaller details.
