Terrific piece, Janice.

What a tragedy about these two creative men. Indeed a stark reminder of how everything can change in the blink of an eye. And of how wee need to live each day to its fullest.

Losing ones mobility is a huge fear for me. At 81, I am well aware of how fragile my body is becoming. Losing my balance and falling is a constant and very realistic fear.

To be trapped inside a frozen body with a still active mind is horrible, and is what happens to those with Lou Gherigs disease.

Thank you for writing about this difficult subject, and do be careful.
