I think perhaps they did not realize that the photographs were very particular to the article, since I was talking specifically about plants in our climatic zone, and all the photos were taken in our garden.

No matter. I usually stick to just three publications here, but after reading a few excellent articles in theirs, and receiving an invite to join, well I relented.

Good to hear that there is an active save the bees movement where you are. I think we all have topush for change. We have a lot of good neighbours around our area, most of whom are trying their best to follow these guidelines.
