Well even though it wasn’t really that funny, the reaction from the stuffed shirts was a source of amusement to both myself and my really outrageous landlady.

Mrs. Blake was a Mormon and a really decent person, but she had a diabolical sense of humour and really enjoyed seeing the stuffed shirts getting annoyed.

She and I used to watch Laugh in on TV after dinner. If the doorbell rang and we thought it was the Moromon Missionaries or the Mormon Home visitors, we would not answer the door.
