As soon a I saw that Google pic of the front entrance to my old home, a slew of memories came back: the tiny owls that used to nest in any cavities they could find in that wall. The way my crazy dog, Guarda used to race along the top of that same wall barking angrily at all that passed. How I used to sit in the hedge along that wall and chat with the local kids...
