Thank you for dropping by, PD!

Yes, isn’t in incredible how those sweet, delicate petals survived that freezing snow and soldiered on.

Spring bulbs are so much fun. You can have a great progression of colour from March through June by just picking the right types.

The crocus are so sweet and delicate, and so welcome. There are some very small, early ones, and then some larger, later ones. There are also some very tiny, early tulips, which are referred to as Species Tulips. Some originate in really cold mountainous regions.

Very early species tulips. April
Anenome pulsatilla — windflower -April
Chiondoxa — April
Dutch Iris — June
Frittaleria Crown Imperial — April-May
Striped Squill -April-May
Frittaleria meleagris — April-May

Just a few early flowering bulbs for you.
