Thank you Randy.
Actually, although I made that trip every day, it never got boring. Nothing in Portugal was ever boring. I loved Portugal, I loved the train trip, I loved visiting the historic Belem tower (I had a cork carving of it once).
Portugal was where I lived in my first “home”. From birth til 10 years old my family was travelling all over the place. We lived in hotels. It was always temporary. When my Dad decided to settle us in Portugal and we finally rented the house in the village of Livramento, (https://medium.com/show-your-city/portugal-and-some-of-its-cities-part-2-bbc9797bb204 )that was the first real home for me. I grew up there. From age 10 til 21. At 21, I was free and left.
