She really was a character, and I just wish we had been able to help her more. I guess her issues had gone on for so long before, that by the time we got her, there was no hope of happy resolution.

It never fails to annoy me when people have animals, but do not feel they need to do any more than feed them. Her previous owner had only taken her to the vet once or twice, and her health issues went undetected until we got her.

I feel that a lot of her bad temper and moodiness was due to physical discomfort.
