I think that Chocolate Eupatorium may be rather uncommon. I do not see it for sale often, certainly not at the “popular” plant supply places. I got turned on to it by, who else, but my friend and former boss, Paul. He hunted down any perennial that would tolerate a bit of shade and had a long flowering time.
