No, I don’t believe I ever mentioned it before. It has been under control for a while and this is the first really crippling episode for a long time. I have been taking a supplement called Reservatrol (sound like a car additive) and that really seems to help it.

It’s a strange condition. Comes and goes with slight temperature changes, but if it is super cold, it might hit really hard.

The last time I had a really bad attack like that was 20 years ago. A friend of ours thought it would be fun to go cross country skiing at a zoo not far from where we lived. A huge space, and very popular with cross country skiers, they actually had a rental place set up.

We got all dressed up, rented some skies, got them on and started out. We had not gone 50 feet when my hands went numb, then began to get circulation back. I was in tears and they had to leave me at the reptile house. Nice and warm and eventually my stupid hands reverted to normal. Very embarrassing.
