Thanks for reading and commenting, Al. I am truly alarmed at what is going on currently. In the past week two Canadian politicians have been accused of sexual misconduct, and both forced to resign. In both cases the accusers have been anonymous, and in both cases other high profile politicians have come out and supported the accusers EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO PROOF. They are calling the accusers “brave”. I’m not seeing that. I’m seeing people having their lives ruined merely from an allegation. No proof, no court case, tried in the public eye, and your so-called peers coming in for the kill.

What this means is that ANY man is at risk. Even if he never did anything at all, some vindictive female could go public and accuse him of sexual something, and he would be screwed.

I really hope some of these guys hire themselves a first rate lawyer and sue the living S*** out of some of the smart ass politicians who are applauding. What sort of an example is it for a person in a position of power to jump to conclusions? If these allegations are proven to be untrue, the accused would have a case for slander against a slew of people.
