Thanks for reading and commenting, Erika.

I was really amazed when I starting digging into the history of the place. Incredible people. Great stories. Apparently, back in the 1800s there were large copper deposits in th rocks above the ocea. At first the English settlers stripped what was visble, but then when that was gone, they hoped for more. Unfortunately for them it was on the rocks but under the sea. they needed special equipment to get at it, and did not have said equipment. A few bankcruptcies happened as a result of betting on what they thought was a sure thing!!
