Thanks, Sherry. My late response to this is due to Medium playing silly buggers. Anyway, I really appreciate the well wishes and encouragement from the Medium family.

Now, one month after the stroke, I have regained 80% mobility on the left side. Still using the walker, but am able to take a few steps unsupported. Am doing active physio daily, and working on the weakest parts.

The worst part is the side effects from the assorted meds I have to take.
