For what it is worth, I think that your kitchen is very pretty, even if the cupboards are old, I love the primrose yellow. I also really like your floor and counters.

It is apalling how much things are these days. In the past two years materials for building have skyrocketed, and are often unavailable anyway.

Bruce wanted to upgrade out kitchen some years ago and we went the route of IKEA. Not the most amazing, but we were able to remain within budget. We knew two handymen types who both were pretty good sorts and we had gotten them to do work before. We went with the one that was available. He did a fair job and finished on time.
