That was great, Jamie.

I find interpreting our cats meows endlessly entertaining,.

When we first adopted Gandalf, he was pretty quiet until about 2 in the morning. Then he would howl horribly around the house.

We began to suspect he had the munchies.

We bought a feeder with two sets of timers and put a bit of dry food in each section. We set the timers to open the first door around 1am and the second timer to open around 3:30am

It took Gandalf no time at all to figure it out, and his early morning howling stopped.

I find it amusing that when they are leaving or entering a room where we are, they vocalize a little - sort of like "Bye - I'm outa here" or "Hi - I'm back"
