I had never heard of the Carrotwood tree. The fruits look rather hard, like nuts.

The Palo Verde flowers are very pretty, I had not heard of this either.

I had heard of the medical uses of the Ganoderma, and also that it can cause severe liver damage in some people. Folk medicine is often a topic of serious debate.

Rabbits are cute, but in our 'hood they are frequently the target of Coyotes and Foxes.
