This article both made me laugh, and made me think.
I always like to respond to anyone that take time to read something of mine, and I usually try to go and read something of theirs. Sadly, sometimes the read is disappointing. I leave claps, and feel I should at least leave some comment. This is when I have a problem. What to say when the piece was a total loss for me? Should I just clap and leave, or should I leave a bland, inoffensive comment? It’s not an easy decision. As an co-editor, I often run into stuff I personally dislike, but which is perfectly fine for the publication. This is when the really bland comments happen.
It’s tricky. Thanks for bringing this up.
