We had been asked to look after Finn and Tessa to reduce the number of dogs from 5 to 2 in the house because of medical issues of the parents. Once the situation was under control, Finns’ guardian decided to move to the country and took Finn and her other dog, Clover along. We were sad because we would have loved to have adopted Finn permanently.

Tessa went back to the parents home, joining the two remaining dogs.

However, Tessa refused to settle back at her previous home and just stood in the front window and keened, hoping to come back to us. Finally, we agreed to adopt her and had her until 2017, when we had to put her to sleep for medical reasons.

From time to time we would hear about Finn. His Guardian hooked up with a dreadful guy that was abusive and apprently abused Finn and the cats. His guardian moved back home. Finn was a wreck. So was his guardian. Time goes by, and the guardian decided she needed to volunteer at a Scottish wildlife rescue for a few weeks and asks us to look after Finn. That is where we are right now. ;-)
