I smiled at your description of the crows harassing the hawk. The hawks are always getting chased by the smaller birds around here, they seem to resent their presence and consider it a necessity to chase them. I notice that the smaller birds also like to chase the crows and the BlueJays.

My fave shots are those of the American white Ibises. they are so beautiful and I love how they balance gracefully on one leg.
