Interesting about the Robins. The American Robins, tend as Dennett said, to hang in crowds, although as they get paired off later in the season, each pair claims a space, which they defend fiercely. In our garden, the come in around january, and visit our heated birdbath. They behave like a bunch of rude people in a bar. Jostling each other for access to the water.
