I really like how David talks about how autism is viewed by a lot of people. Leading to unfortunate stereoptyping.

I am grateful for all the autistic kids I had for garden helpers over the years. I learned a lot. We had a good time working together. In more than one case, although gardening was not their focus, my garden jobs helped them to get to where they wanted to go.

I learned how to get the best possible performance from them by understanding how they needed to work.
